Junior Cycling Programs
Since 1993, the Front Ranger Cycling Club (FRCC) has been recognized for its sponsorship of strong Junior and age 23 & under (U23) racing teams. Additionally, we also support and welcome Senior and Masters racers, especially individuals who enjoy working with our Junior and U23 members and with our inner-city youth program.
Our team participates primarily in road racing and cyclocross, although members also have the opportunity to explore track and mountain biking disciplines. Our junior members have consistently placed in the top 5 at State Championships, as well as the local racing association (BRAC) Best All-round Rider & Best All-round Team-awarded to the various age groups. This success is due to our coaches, mentors, involved parents, our close “family” like interaction with each other and professional level coaching. Club members not only benefit from our coaching but also from club discounts on bikes, equipment, services and clothing. Junior have free access to club bikes, equipment and various donated items. The club also offers financial assistance for select races, disadvantaged members, and scholarships for continuing education.
Junior Cycling Program Membership: The FRCC Racing Team is open to athletes wishing to support the Front Rangers mission to get kids on bikes. Bike racing builds many lifelong skills and benefits. We feel that contributing to society through the club’s youth mission is essential to a racer’s growth.
